Synthetic vitamins are created in the lab. The body could have difficulties when metabolizing such substances. Most nutritionists now recommend the use of natural vitamin supplements because the absorption rate and the long term efficiency are really great.

Not all vitamin supplements make a good choice for your health. Self-administration of vitamins and minerals is problematic. Even when people don’t suffer from a chronic condition, they may still develop intolerance or side effects to some ingredients or supplement combinations.

Follow instructions carefully, check the list of ingredients and make sure the product has FDA approval. Don’t buy discount vitamin supplements on the Internet unless you are convinced they are from reliable sources. Buy from reputed manufacturers and only after checking the authenticity of a certain product.
