Cats have a natural tendency to desire to potty in the gravel or dirt where they may rake with their paws. In addition little kittens start to learn from their mommy, so by the time your kitty is available to be brought to your home employing a litter box will probably feel comfortable to her. You’ll have much better luck litter training your kitten if you maintain the litter box in a quiet room where the kitten feels secure. Maintain the litter box away from high traffic regions and aside from obnoxious appliances. The litter box also needs to be handy, so if you have multiple levels in your home you must maintain a litter box on every level. And keep all litter boxes aside from the cat’s feeding area. Not unlike us felines don’t like to go to the potty where they eat.
